Processing Units (PUs) are the credits that power all computational activity on the VIDIZMO Digital Evidence Management System. Every time the platform processes content, whether encoding a video, running AI transcription, detecting objects, or generating visual descriptions, PUs are consumed from your monthly balance. Think of them as a shared fuel tank that covers all AI and processing workloads in one place.

A Named User is a licensed account holder with full platform access. They can upload evidence, manage cases, run AI workflows, annotate content, and administer the system. A Viewer is someone a Named User shares specific content with for a defined period of time. Viewers can only access the files explicitly shared with them and only for as long as that share is active. They cannot browse the platform, upload content, or manage cases. All DEMS plans include unlimited Viewers at no extra cost.

Your account remains active and your existing content stays fully accessible. If you exhaust your monthly Processing Units or reach your Storage limit, you can purchase additional capacity at any time by contacting the VIDIZMO sales team. Top-ups are applied to your account promptly so you can resume processing without delay.

All three plans include the full core DEMS feature set, including unlimited cases, secure evidence sharing, audit trails, tamper verification, multi-stream playback, and SSO/MFA. The plans differ in what AI capabilities are unlocked and how much processing capacity is included. Standard covers the essentials for evidence management. Professional adds AI transcription, translation, and cloud ingestion tools for teams that need to search and analyze content at scale. Premium adds AI-powered redaction built directly into the platform, so you can manage, analyze, and redact evidence all in one place without switching tools.

All processing on DEMS draws from a single shared PU balance. Because redaction is significantly more compute-intensive than standard processing, the Premium plan is sized to support both general content processing and a meaningful redaction workload within that balance. The plan's listed capacity, 2 hours of video redaction, 6 hours of audio redaction, or 4,000 document pages, reflects what you can expect to redact per month alongside your regular platform usage.

Yes. Additional Named User licenses can be added to any DEMS plan at any time. Simply contact the VIDIZMO sales team and the new seats will be provisioned under your existing subscription without requiring a plan change or a new contract.

Yes. You can upgrade from Standard to Professional or Premium at any time during your subscription. The additional cost is prorated for the remaining days in your current billing cycle, so you only pay for what you use. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date.

Your digital evidence management system subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period to ensure uninterrupted access to your cases and evidence. You can cancel at any time before your renewal date to prevent the next charge. Annual plans are non-refundable. Once a billing cycle begins, no partial refunds or credits are issued.

Yes. You can start a 7-day free trial on any DEMS plan with no credit card required. You'll have full access to the platform so you can upload real evidence, test AI workflows, and evaluate the system against your agency's needs before making a commitment.
