Speaker diarization identifies and differentiates individual speakers in audio and video recordings with approximately 90% accuracy, labeling each speaker segment to create a who-said-what transcript format. Speaker identification matches voices against known speaker profiles using voice biometric characteristics.

VIDIZMO DEMS detects objects with approximately 95% accuracy and less than 3% false positive rate, with support for custom model training. Detected objects include faces and persons, vehicles and license plates, weapons, electronic devices, signatures, street signs, PPE violations, graffiti, and custom objects via agency-trained models.

Object tracking follows detected objects throughout a video’s duration. Once detected in a frame, the system tracks movement across subsequent frames. Investigators click on a detected object to see its full trajectory, and tracking data is indexed and searchable across the evidence repository.

VIDIZMO DEMS provides a multi-layered facial AI pipeline: facial detection identifies faces in frames, facial analysis estimates age and gender, facial recognition matches against known databases, and cross-evidence face matching identifies the same person across multiple evidence items.

VIDIZMO DEMS includes Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR/ANPR) that detects and reads plates in video and image evidence across different formats and jurisdictions. Plate numbers are indexed for search and cross-referencing across surveillance, dashcam, and drone footage.

Activity recognition uses VideoMAE architecture with 92%+ accuracy to detect specific activities like shopping, trespassing, and robbery in video footage. It generates timestamped, searchable activity events and is configurable for organization-specific patterns in surveillance and corrections use cases.

OCR extracts text from video frames, images, scanned documents, and PDFs using PaddleOCR, Tesseract, and Azure engines. Extracted text becomes searchable content. The platform supports handwritten text recognition and Perso-Arabic and other non-Latin scripts.

VIDIZMO DEMS provides extractive summarization that pulls key quotes from transcripts and abstractive summarization using LLAMA 3.1 to generate condensed synopses with approximately 90% accuracy. This dramatically reduces review time for lengthy recordings by generating evidence and incident summaries.

Automatic chaptering breaks long-form video into navigable segments by identifying natural break points. It creates a table of contents for long recordings so investigators jump directly to relevant sections, with each chapter including a topic summary from the transcription.

Sentiment analysis tracks emotional tone throughout audio and video recordings using DeepFace technology with approximately 90% accuracy. It identifies shifts in emotional tone during interviews, flags moments of elevated stress or anger, and supports behavioral assessment for investigations.

Keyword extraction automatically identifies important terms from transcripts and documents, surfacing threat-related keywords, suspect names, and location references. Topic modeling identifies recurring themes within evidence content, automatically discovering topics discussed across multiple items and grouping related evidence by theme.

Results are indexed and searchable upon completion. Batch processing has been tested on collections of 1.1 million+ recordings.

Redaction

VIDIZMO DEMS supports three visual redaction styles, each applicable to faces, objects, text, or any region requiring privacy protection: blur applies a Gaussian blur over the target area, pixelate applies a mosaic effect for visual obscuration, and black box covers the area with an opaque overlay.

Yes. VIDIZMO DEMS providesframe-by-frame analysis for precise redaction. Investigators review each individual frame to ensure sensitive content is accurately identified and redacted. This is critical for court-admissible redaction where missing a single frame could expose protected information.

VIDIZMO DEMS uses AI to automatically detect and redact faces in video and image evidence. Investigators select which faces to redact and which to leave visible. Selected faces are tracked throughout the video duration with redaction applied consistently across all frames, with batch support for high-volume work.

Spoken PII redaction detects and removes personally identifiable information from audio tracks using mute (silence) or bleep (tone replacement). It detects 33+ categories of spoken PII including names, SSNs, phone numbers, and credit cards, with AI-assisted detection and human review.

Document redaction supports multiple detection methods so agencies can redact all instances across multiple documents simultaneously: keyword-based search and redact, custom regex patterns for agency-specific formats, OCR-powered text detection in scanned documents, handwritten text recognition, Perso-Arabic and non-Latin scripts, and bulk document processing.

The multi-layer system assigns each redaction a class (face, vehicle, name) and a code (FOIA exemption, state code) organized into independent layers. Agencies export different layer combinations from a single master document, eliminating the need to create and maintain multiple redacted copies.

VIDIZMO DEMS supports FOIA exemption codes 1 through 9 plus state-specific exemption codes. Each code maps to a redaction layer, enabling agencies to produce version-specific redacted documents for different requesters from a single master evidence file with full audit trail.

VIDIZMO DEMS has been tested for batch processing of 1.1 million+ recordings. Batch redaction queues multiple evidence items for AI-assisted processing, delivers results for human review, and is essential for agencies handling large FOIA requests or evidence disclosure packages at scale.

Chain of Custody, Admissibility & Retention

The chain of custody report documents every evidence interaction with exportable PDF or CSV formats for court submission. It captures the IP address of the accessing device, username and role of the actor, date and time of every event timestamped to the second, event type (upload, view, download, share, edit, redact, delete), and event details with contextual information.

VIDIZMO DEMS generates a SHA-256 cryptographic hash for every evidence file at ingestion. Any modification, even a single byte, produces a different hash. Investigators verify at any time that evidence has not been tampered with, and results are included in chain of custody reports for court submission.

Yes. VIDIZMO DEMS stores audit logs in WORM-enabled (Write Once, Read Many) storage. Logs cannot be edited or deleted by any user including administrators. Every action is permanently recorded and admissible as evidence of chain of custody in court proceedings, meeting CJIS and FedRAMP requirements.

VIDIZMO Digital Evidence Management System ensures court admissibility through layered evidence integrity verification: immutable chain of custody documentation, SHA-256 tamper detection, WORM-enabled audit logs that cannot be altered, AES-256 and TLS encryption, CJIS compliance, AI-powered deepfake detection, and court-accepted export formats.

VIDIZMO Digital Evidence Management System includes AI-powered deepfake detection that verifies whether video content has been synthetically generated or manipulated. Combined with SHA-256 hashing and WORM logs, this protects chain of custody integrity against AI-generated fabrications submitted as evidence and supports authenticity challenges in court.

The Content Lifecycle Policy engine automates evidence retention and disposition based on configurable rules: delete-on-case-closure for automatic cleanup, purge after retention period expiry, move to cold storage for cost optimization, archive per NARA schedules for federal compliance, and custom rules based on evidence type or regulatory requirements.

Legal hold prevents accidental deletion or purging of evidence subject to active legal proceedings. Held evidence is exempt from all automated retention policies, and no user regardless of role can delete it. The hold remains until an authorized administrator lifts it, with full audit trail of the hold status.

Evidence disposition manages the end-of-life process through a structured workflow ensuring compliance at every step: scheduled destruction after retention expiry, NARA-aligned disposition rules for federal records, multi-level approval workflows before destruction, destruction certificates for compliance documentation, and a complete audit trail of all disposition actions.

Yes. The Content Lifecycle Policy engine supports NARA federal records retention schedules. Agencies configure automated retention and disposition rules aligned to specific NARA record schedules, ensuring federal evidence is preserved and destroyed according to National Archives requirements.

VIDIZMO DEMS uses per-user tokenized sharing URLs so every external access is attributed to a specific recipient. Each access event (link click, download, view) is logged in the audit trail with IP, timestamp, and user identity. Time-limited access windows and access-count restrictions add further accountability, and the chain of custody continues unbroken from ingestion through external review and back.

The vendor-agnostic architecture accepts evidence from any source in 255+ formats, and metadata mapping preserves case associations and contextual data during import. Agencies continue using Axon cameras since DEMS is hardware-agnostic.

VIDIZMO DEMS vs Competitors

Axon Evidence is cloud-only and tightly coupled to Axon's body camera ecosystem, which works well for single agencies committed to Axon hardware. Choose VIDIZMO when any of three things matter: you need an on-premises, hybrid, or air-gapped deployment (Axon is SaaS-only), you want to keep or mix non-Axon cameras (Motorola, Panasonic, Utility, WolfCom), or you need AI investigation depth Axon does not offer, including CaseBot natural-language querying, 82-language transcription, cross-interview analysis, and deepfake detection. State-level multi-agency platforms and federal classified workloads almost always need VIDIZMO.

Most agencies look for an Axon alternative for one of three reasons: hardware independence, deployment flexibility, or richer AI. VIDIZMO is the only platform that addresses all three. It ingests footage from any BWC vendor, deploys across SaaS, on-premises, FedRAMP High, IL4/IL5, and air-gapped environments, and ships 21+ AI capabilities including CaseBot. Other named alternatives like Genetec Clearance, Motorola CommandCentral, and Kaseware solve some of these but typically lock you into a different ecosystem instead.

Genetec Clearance is an extension of Genetec Security Center, so it inherits a physical-security mindset rather than an evidence-lifecycle one. It is reasonable when an agency is already standardized on Genetec for surveillance. It is the wrong fit when you need FedRAMP High authorization, true multi-tenant architecture for multi-agency platforms, AI tools like CaseBot and cross-interview analysis, or court-grade FOIA redaction with multi-layer exemption codes. VIDIZMO is purpose-built for the evidence lifecycle from ingestion to courtroom and adds the certifications and AI Clearance lacks.

CommandCentral Evidence is part of Motorola's broader public safety suite (RMS, CAD, radio, BWC) and assumes the agency is mostly on Motorola. That tight integration helps Motorola-aligned departments but limits choice on cameras, AI capabilities, and deployment models. VIDIZMO is ecosystem-neutral: it ingests evidence from any BWC vendor, integrates with whatever RMS or CAD you already run, deploys on-premises and in air-gapped environments, and includes AI features (CaseBot, deepfake detection, cross-interview analysis, 82-language transcription) CommandCentral does not match.

Kaseware is a case management platform that has added media handling, so its strengths sit in case workflows and investigative records, not media. If your bottleneck is case management, Kaseware fits. If your bottleneck is evidence (BWC ingestion at scale, 255+ format coverage, FOIA redaction at thousand-page volume, AI on video and audio, or court-admissible chain of custody), VIDIZMO is the right tool. The two can also coexist: VIDIZMO handles evidence, Kaseware handles cases, with REST API integration between them.

NICE Inform comes from a contact center and 911 call-recording heritage, so it is strong on audio capture and incident reconstruction in audio-heavy environments. For agencies whose evidence is mostly 911 audio it can be a fit. The gaps show up when evidence is video-heavy (BWC, dashcam, CCTV, drone) or document-heavy (FOIA, case files): NICE Inform's analytics depth on video and documents is limited. VIDIZMO covers video AI (object detection, facial recognition, activity recognition, deepfake detection) and document AI (OCR, summarization, multi-layer redaction) at scale.

iCrimeFighter serves smaller departments well with simple evidence storage and BWC handling, and that simplicity is part of the value. Agencies typically outgrow it when they need any of: federal compliance (FedRAMP High, IL4/IL5), enterprise scale measured in thousands of users and petabytes of storage, AI to reduce manual review time, or multi-portal access for prosecutors, courts, and partner agencies. VIDIZMO supports all of these, with proven federal deployments at the VA (9,000+ users) and FBI (400+ FOIA reviewers).

VeriPic is focused on photo evidence authentication and solves that narrow problem well. The need to switch shows up when evidence stops being photo-only: video from body cameras and dashcams, audio from interviews and 911 calls, documents from case files, and the AI required to make all of it searchable. VIDIZMO is full-spectrum across video, audio, documents, and images with 21+ AI capabilities, FOIA-grade multi-layer redaction, and enterprise chain of custody that scales beyond what a single-purpose photo tool can deliver.

Condor serves federal agencies but is constrained on enterprise scale, AI breadth, and multi-portal stakeholder access. Federal customers needing thousands of users, petabyte-class storage, multi-tenant deployments for state platforms, or modern AI (CaseBot, 82-language transcription, deepfake detection, cross-interview analysis) typically find Condor too thin. VIDIZMO provides three tiered support plans for DEMS: Standard, Premium, and Premium Plus. Standard covers business-hours technical support with standard response times for general issues. Premium adds extended hours, priority response, and a named support contact for ongoing engagement. Premium Plus delivers 24/7 coverage with the fastest response SLAs, dedicated technical account management, and quarterly business reviews. Tier selection depends on agency criticality, deployment complexity, and operational hours.

Response times scale with plan tier and case severity. Critical (P1) issues affecting production receive the fastest response, with Premium Plus offering the shortest SLA window. High-priority (P2) and standard (P3) cases follow defined response targets that tighten as the plan tier increases. All plans include the ability to escalate directly to engineering when an issue blocks production. Specific response and resolution time commitments are documented in each agency's support agreement.

Yes. VIDIZMO offers 24/7 support coverage under the Premium Plus support plan, recommended for federal, state, and other mission-critical production deployments. Premium provides extended business-hours coverage. Standard covers business hours during the agency's primary time zone. Production-critical deployments at federal scale (FedRAMP High, IL4/IL5) typically run on Premium Plus for full round-the-clock incident response.

Critical incidents trigger an immediate escalation path that pulls in engineering, security, and operations teams as needed. The platform's 99.9% uptime SLA is measured monthly for SaaS deployments, backed by fault tolerance across multiple data centers. For on-premises deployments, support engineers work alongside agency IT to diagnose and resolve issues. Post-incident, VIDIZMO provides root cause analysis (RCA) documentation for high-severity events, with remediation tracking through closure.

VIDIZMO provides role-based training delivered onsite or remotely: end-user training for investigators and evidence managers, administrator training for system configuration and policy management, integration training for IT teams using REST API and SSO, and AI model tuning sessions for Premium-tier customers running custom AI training. Training scope and depth scale with deployment size, and refresher sessions are available as agencies onboard new staff.

Yes. New agencies receive a structured onboarding engagement covering tenant provisioning, SSO and identity integration, evidence migration from legacy systems where applicable, policy configuration (retention, redaction, RBAC), and initial training delivery. Onboarding timelines run from days for shared SaaS to weeks for on-premises and FedRAMP High deployments. A named onboarding lead manages the engagement from kickoff through go-live.

SaaS deployments receive product updates and security patches automatically on a rolling release cadence with no agency-side action required. On-premises and air-gapped deployments receive packaged updates and patches with release notes, validation guidance, and optional support assistance during the upgrade window. Security-critical patches are delivered out of band when needed. All updates preserve existing chain of custody, audit logs, and data integrity.

VIDIZMO DEMS is available through multiple government procurement channels to streamline purchasing: the Microsoft Azure Government Marketplace (federal, defense, intelligence community), the Microsoft Azure Commercial Marketplace, the Texas DIR cooperative purchasing contract, and Sourcewell cooperative purchasing for state, local, and education agencies. These vehicles often reduce the time from selection to contract execution, especially for agencies with established cooperative purchasing relationships.

Yes. VIDIZMO regularly responds to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and SOWs from federal, state, and local agencies. A dedicated proposal team prepares compliant submissions, completes security questionnaires (CJIS, FedRAMP, HIPAA, IL4/IL5), and provides reference architectures. Standard procurement documentation includes SOC reports, FedRAMP package excerpts, ATO letters, security overviews, deployment guides, and reference customer information that agencies typically require for evaluation and award.

Yes. VIDIZMO offers pilot deployments and proof-of-concept engagements for qualified agencies. Pilots typically run 30 to 90 days on a SaaS environment with a defined evaluation scope (number of users, evidence volume, success criteria). Pilots include onboarding support, training for participating users, and weekly check-ins to track success criteria. This lets agencies validate fit and capabilities before committing to a production deployment. Contact sales to scope a pilot.
